Critical Path

A Critical Path is a key tool for managing your product development timeline. It answers the question "how long is this going to take?". This Industry standard template maps all of the critical dates that need to be met to get your product in at your expected time. Simply put in the in-store date you are aiming for and the template will auto-calculate back to tell you what the dates are for the key milestones.

Included is an Excel document built around a 6 month Critical Path (timeline). It maps the product developments 3 phases and lists 19 key points that need to be met. It includes information and extra comments within the document to explain why the dates are the length they are and helpful things to consider. As a starting point it is set up for product coming from China, however the whole template is editable allowing you to adapt it to your unique business and varying Country of Origins.
